Utility-scale solar plant at golden hour, monitored and protected by Oppus-integrated systems.

We help plant owners optimize and protect their generation assets.

One partner that does it all: equipment from multiple manufacturers adapted to your plant. Sourced, integrated, and commissioned on site with your team.

Who we are

Oppus Global is the optimization-and-protection partner that stays after system startup, so when you need something — a question after go-live, a change on site, a fault that cannot wait — you speak directly with the engineer who designed your system, not a ticket queue: someone who already knows how your plant was built, and can take the call without a handover. You will never open a ticket with us and wait weeks for a response; we have answered previous customers' queries within five minutes. One partner does everything: a solution tailored to your plant's needs, with equipment from multiple manufacturers.

Plant Monitoring & Control

Every Oppus engagement starts the same way: we listen to what your plant needs, then research and source the equipment that fits from proven manufacturers. Ten solutions, each delivered by the same partner.

How we work

Engineered around your plant. Commissioned alongside your team.

Your system is designed around your plant's requirements, your equipment mix, and your objectives. It is not adapted from a template.

Requirements and compatibility research come first. Then we purchase from the manufacturers that fit your needs and budget.

Equipment from different manufacturers, engineered to operate as one unified system.

We verify the system together with your team, so the system you take over is one your team already trusts.

Direct access to the engineers who built your system. Our clients have received support within minutes.

Warranty & experience

You can weigh us by the work already in the field. That work is more than fifty generation projects across four countries, with twenty-five years of team experience.

Warranty is only as good as the commissioning behind it. Our warranty covers the workmanship of our integration. Warranty on equipment too. Terms are defined in your contract and honored by the engineers who built your system.

Common questions

Frequently asked questions

The questions we hear most often before a project begins, answered in solar-plant terms, with the detail on the linked pages.

A SCADA (supervisory control and data acquisition) system lets you see and act on your plant in real time. Every inverter, tracker, meter, and relay is in that picture. For a plant owner, it is the difference between discovering a failure in a monthly report and addressing it in time.

We make every manufacturer on your site speak to that one picture.

In a generation plant, predictive maintenance means your own operating data flags what will need attention before generation is lost. Calendar-based (preventive) maintenance follows a schedule. Waiting until something breaks is reactive maintenance.

Our machine-learning models learn from your plant's SCADA data and flag the patterns that precede downtime.

See SCADA & Energy Management System (EMS)

In a solar plant, an energy management system (EMS) is the role that manages generation. Through setpoints, curtailment, dispatch, and reporting, it keeps your plant within grid limits.

It is not a separate product. It is what your SCADA does when it is engineered for generation management.

See SCADA & Energy Management System (EMS)

A BESS (battery energy storage system) is batteries plus their management system (BMS). It stores energy when generation is abundant and dispatches it when it is valuable. On a generation plant, intermittent generation becomes dispatchable capacity. That is plant-scale storage, not a home battery.

We integrate that storage with your plant's monitoring and control.

See Battery Energy Storage (BESS)

Devices across your plant report continuously. That data becomes one real-time picture. You and your team act on it with alarms, setpoints, and commands, from the control room or remotely. You see and act as one plant.

The value is not the software itself. Every manufacturer on your site speaks to the same system.

See how it works

SCADA watches and controls the plant. An EMS decides generation through setpoints, curtailment, and reporting. In a well-engineered plant they are one system doing both jobs.

That is how we deliver them.

A power plant controller (PPC) is the on-site controller that keeps a utility-scale solar plant inside grid-code limits automatically, in real time. It regulates active and reactive power at the interconnection point, so that work is not done by hand.

See Power Plant Controller (PPC)

A revenue-grade meter is a meter accurate enough to bill on. It sits at your interconnection point, where every megawatt-hour of revenue is measured. Ordinary meters elsewhere in the plant are not the reading used for settlement.

The same interconnection metering stack also watches power quality.

See Power Quality & Revenue Metering

A recloser detects a fault, interrupts it, and restores power automatically, so a momentary fault does not become a sustained outage. A breaker stays open until someone resets it. A recloser brings the line back on its own. On a solar plant, that hardware sits on a medium-voltage feeder or at the plant interconnection.

There is no honest list price for a SCADA system. Cost depends on your plant: its size, its manufacturer mix, and what the system must do.

Where a templated stack has a list price, a system engineered around your plant has a proposal. Talk to an engineer, and you will get a real number for your plant.

The people who build your system are the people who answer.

Sooner or later, you will ask the question every plant owner asks. What happens after go-live? Our answer is the way we work: commissioned on site with your team, warrantied on what we supply and what we build, and supported directly by the engineers who built it.
